Valuable Information for Women Owned Small Businesses

March is Women’s History Month, and to celebrate TargetGov has compiled a list of resources available to Women Owned Small Businesses (WOSB) contracting with the Federal Government.

As with other socioeconomic certifications, the Federal Government has mandated contracting goals for agencies. That goal for Women Owned Small Businesses is 5% of all available contacts. One of the major jobs of small business specialists is to meet these goals.

You can find out more information about these small business set aside goals by clicking this link for the Small Business Dashboard. It will tell you (sorted by Fiscal Year) the breakdown of how the Federal Government is doing on all of these goals.
