SBA’s Small Business Dynamic Search Undergoing a Major Update

By Gloria Larkin

DSBS will be sunset in summer 2025, to be replaced by the Small Business Search (SBS)

After using the same format for over 15 years, a new redesign of DSBS will soon replace the current version. You can preview a Beta version of the new Small Business Search site here. Please note that there may be some differences between DSBS and the new Beta SBS until the SBA moves over the existing data. Editing existing small business information through SBA Connect was paused on June 20, 2025; therefore, no edits can be made during this unspecified transition time.

The Small Business Search (SBS) is the new, modern interface by the Small Business Administration for finding small businesses engaged in federal government contracting, eventually replacing the Dynamic Small Business Search (DSBS). As of now, the old fields remain the same in the new format, but this beta site may change as the SBA is interested in feedback from all users, including small businesses, federal agencies, and large businesses seeking specific information for small businesses.
