The CyberMaryland Conference includes thought leaders from Maryland’s Cyber Security sector and also features nationally recognized speakers and panelists on cyber and technology innovations. Sessions cover the most up-to-date information from thought leaders in all facets of the cyber ecosystem.
Gloria Larkin, TargetGov CEO and founder, will be presenting a Master Class titled “Accelerate Growth & Increase Opportunities in the Federal Cyber Market” This master class will focus on increasing opportunities to drive aggressive growth and business development in the federal cyber market. Demand for vendor-furnished information security products and services by the U.S. federal government will increase from $8.6 billion in FY 2015 to $11 billion in 2020 at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 5.2 percent, according to “Deltek’s Federal Information Security Market Report”. Knowledgeable contractors view cybersecurity as a growth market even amid federal budget reductions but realize that it typically takes a minimum of 18-24 months of full-time focused effort to gain traction and see revenues. Attendees of this session will learn how to fast-track federal market growth in both defense and civilian agencies and take advantage of a solid, funded growth market.
